Validate, validate, validate!

I like helping anybody especially when they ask for help and even when they don’t ask I like to help out but when somebody ask you for help I feel like I really need to help them with whatever it is they’re asking for help with. So this evening I was walking to my vehicle in the parking lot and this girl comes up to me and she says can you help me get some gas. She said her sister and her were from Fayetteville and that they had brought this guy to Lumberton and he said he was going to give them gas money but once they got him to Lumberton he didn’t give them any gas money and they were just sitting in the parking lot on empty and had been there all day she said and they were hungry too. So they had a gallon jug in their car I took them to the gas station got a gallon of gas brought them back put the gas in their car met them back over to the gas station gave them $10 for gas and then six dollars to go to Hardees to get a little bite to eat so they could make it back to Fayetteville. So as we drove out of the gas station I turned left toward Hardee’s and they took off in the opposite direction as I’m watching in my rearview mirror and they pulled right into the ABC store, so there was no traffic so I whipped around and pulled over by the ABC store got out of my vehicle went into the ABC store and the girl was up at the register buying a pint of liquor. So before she got a chance to pay for it with the six dollars in her hands I said why are you doing me like this you told me you were hungry that’s why I gave you the money she was speechless and took out the door got in her vehicle and left. So needless to say validate anybody asking for help. I wanted to help in a way that they ask and not in support of any bad habit.
